I can’t believe it’s that time of year again. Summer’s almost here and I’m going to be hosting HP’s yearly 30 day raw vegan challenge here at Just Glowing With Health. Well hello! June 1st I’m kicking off the 30 day Raw Vegan challenge for the 5th year. I can’t believe we’re doing this for the 5th time! May 2017 marks my 5 year anniversary of being Topical (and all other) Corticosteroids free. Truly an epic moment for me!
For those of you who know me, you know that I was diagnosed with Red Skin Syndrome in 2012 after 4 yrs of seeking answers for all of my atrocious skin issues. Thanks to Dr. Marvin Rapaport and www.ITSAN.org I was able to get the assistance and knowledge I needed to successfully withdrawal from Topical Corticosteroids.
For those of you just meeting me – here’s the recap. In 2004 I had eyelid Eczema and was prescribed corticosteroids. Over the next 8 years my “Eczema” spread over 80% of my body and became so aggressive I could no longer work or function. This lead to me finding out that it wasn’t actually eczema but rashes as a result of the Topical Corticosteroids I was applying to my skin. Christine has so kindly provided me this forum for raising awareness for this terrible itrogenic disorder. We’ve been working together for years now to provide education to the public to help those who may be facing the same difficulty I was. For that I’m thankful, and so we press on.
