Morrocco Method Hair Products Review

For a while now I have been looking for natural hair products that I could use.  I was literally looking for products that were so natural you could eat them as they say.  So you can imagine how happy I was when I was contacted by Morrocco Method to try out their natural hair products.  Of course when I initially heard about them being all natural, I thought to myself "I've heard that before."  After all the term "all natural" has been so abused and diluted it doesn't necessarily mean anything anymore.  To my surprise, they are 100% natural, GMO-free, vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free products...oh and they are raw and wild-crafted. WOW! Now that is impressive.  They certainly had my attention instantly!

I was sent a couple of their shampoos, a  conditioner and moisturizer  spray, a reconstructive conditioning treatment for the hair and scalp, a styling gel, and a scalp detoxifier.  There were a few products I loved more and a few a little less.  But let's talk about the ones I loved first.

I absolutely fell in love with the Zen Detox.  It basically is a clay mask of the hair that lifts heavy metals and oils out of your hair and scalp.  After using it I really saw my hair volumized and shine, it just uplifted my whole scalp.  I even used it as a facial mask and that was even more impressive.  It left my skin flawless and shiny and my pores were hardly noticeable (which is really a big deal for me seeing as I have big pores).  Even to feel my skin it felt so smooth and fresh.  Love love love this product!

I love their Blood of the Dragon Styling Gel.  It is light but holds well.  My husband now uses that as his gel and he really likes it.  I am thrilled to have found a gel 100% natural, chemical free that works.  I also like the fact it doesn't leave your hair looking greasy or oily.

The Diamond Crystal Mist Conditioner is a leave-in conditioner and moisturizer.  I like the refreshing feel of this spray having extracts of Wild Rose and other scented herbs.   This spray I like to use on the ends of my hair and at the roots when I need to feel freshened up.   I actually used it on my face to freshen up my face and it works great.

The Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo and The Heavenly Chi Shampoo.  These shampoos take a little getting used to. Not having the chemicals in them, they don't suds up like regular shampoos.  So, you have to get used to the feeling that it's not cleaning your hair.  You really have to massage it in well throughout the scalp and hair.  I didn't notice much difference between the two shampoos with my hair.  I felt like there was a residue left on my hair after washing with them, although that could be part of the detox process too.  But after almost two months, even though my hair does smell clean I don't feel completely clean after using them.  However, I have to say that now I no longer need conditioner after washing my hair with them.  Having curly hair that is a big deal.

All in all I am happy with the results I am seeing, my hair has so much more volume, feels so thick and curls so well with no added products. I really have no need for gel or for conditioners anymore.  That alone makes me happy.  I no longer need to wash my hair daily with shampoo.  I simply rinse it well with water on the days I'm not using shampoo. Knowing that I am not putting even one chemical on my skin or in my hair makes me very happy, and that alone makes these products well worth it.  It just takes some time to get past the initial phase of transition.  I really appreciate that a company is so detailed in making sure that not only their products are so clean and natural, but even their packaging, boxes and paper are all recycled properly.  That is dedication and I appreciate that.

These sound wonderful. I checked to see if I can order them from iherb which I can get here but they don't carry them. Where would I be able to get them? I would love at least the zen detox.
